Black Joy Parade Booth Volunteer

We are so excited to announce that on Sunday, February 22nd, The Foundation for Black Excellence will host a booth at the 9th Annual Black Joy Parade in Oakland, California! This is an opportunity for us to share our most recent successes, with a spotlight on our first anti-biased, anti-racist, Montessori preschool - Oakland Community Montessori School!

The mission of The Black Joy Parade is "to provide the Black community and allies a live experience that celebrates our influence on cultures past, present and future. We will unite a diverse community by creating a space to express each of our unique contributions to the Black experience. We invite you to be creative, be open, be present, be free."

Their mission completely aligns with our goals for the Black community, so it is only fitting that we come out and celebrate!
